The New Station

7-Eleven, Inc. is rolling out the BiG Flavor Bar™ — a self-serve sauce-and-topping station — across participating 7-Eleven, Speedway and Stripes locations nationwide, adding a made-to-order customization layer to its existing hot-foods and roller-grill programs. The fixture arrives as convenience-channel operators continue to invest in foodservice differentiation, competing with fast-casual chains on flavor variety and perceived value.

The station debuts seven proprietary sauces developed in-house, each carrying a branded name: That Sticky Heat™ (Spicy Teriyaki), It's Cheesy AF™ (Garlic Parmesan), Honey, Please™ (Honey Mustard), Sweet Like That™ (Honey Garlic), Sweet, Heat, Repeat (Sweet Chili), Ranch All Day™ (Buttermilk Ranch) and Bring The Smoke™ (Smoked Black Pepper BBQ). Crunchy garnishes and classic condiments round out the build-your-own format.

The Foodservice Play

"The BiG Flavor Bar turns every customer into a flavor creator," said Brandon Brown, Senior Vice President, Fresh Foods and Beverages at 7-Eleven, Inc. "Whether they crave heat, tang, crunch or something completely unexpected, fans can dream up bold new combinations and customize every bite to create a flavor experience that's uniquely their own."

The station is engineered to lift attachment across the chain's existing back-of-house items — Big Bite® hot dogs, pizza slices, sandwiches and waffle tots among them. A curated Secret Menu, available in-store, offers suggested builds such as "Garlic Parm Loaded Tots" (waffle tots, Garlic Parmesan sauce, sriracha, crispy garlic) and a "Sweet n Spicy Roller" pairing a Big Bite hot dog with a Jalapeño Cream Cheese taquito, layered with Spicy Teriyaki and Sweet Chili sauces and finished with crispy onions. The Secret Menu strategy mirrors tactics used by QSR brands to generate social engagement and drive repeat visits — a playbook c-store operators are increasingly borrowing to build foodservice destination traffic.

Loyalty Angle

To seed trial, 7Rewards® and Speedy Rewards® members — a combined base of more than 100 million loyalty members across both programs — can access a $3 combo through October 27, 2026, bundling any sausage or hot dog, a bag of 7-Select™ chips and a large Big Gulp® dispensed beverage. Tying the launch to the loyalty program concentrates promotional spend on the chain's most engaged shoppers while generating actionable basket data across the hot-foods and dispensed-beverage categories.

The BiG Flavor Bar represents a meaningful escalation in 7-Eleven's proprietary foodservice identity. Where most c-store sauce bars rely on national-brand condiments, the seven original SKUs give the chain exclusive flavor handles it can market, promote through 7Rewards, and eventually extend into private-label packaged goods — a category where 7-Select already has established shelf presence. For single-store operators and franchisees, the station requires no significant back-of-house preparation, keeping labor overhead low while broadening the perceived menu depth at the forecourt-to-counter transition.
